In September, the Latah County Human Rights Task Force sponsored Human Rights Day at the Market with information and displays on topic of Freedom of Expression: Celebrating our Libraries. This event included a variety of activities that many community members participated in. Kids entered a drawing for free human rights books for youth. People of all ages wrote Thank you notes to the Moscow Public Library. There was an informative display about the history of our Latah public libraries and services they provide. Community members submitted comments about HB 314, sharing their thoughts with legislators.
