You can access that link by clicking HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n \n\n\n\n<\/p>\n Meeting ID: 394 428 2825 \n\n\n A recording of the event will be featured HERE after the event.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Make a donation HERE<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Mail in form to register found HERE (scroll down to see form).<\/p>\n The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Human Rights Breakfast is an event sponsored annually by the Latah County Human Rights Task Force since 1994, and will next occur on Saturday January 24, 2026 beginning at 9:30 am at the 1912 Center.<\/p>\n The Breakfast, which is presented with the assistance of community volunteers, consists of a herty hot breakfast, entertainment, awards and guest speakers. Speakers have included Vernon Baker, African American recipient of the U.S. Medal of Honor for bravery in World War II; Tammy Schnitzer, coordinator of the “Not in our Town” project in Billings, Montana and nationally syndicated columnist and author, Leonard Pitts. This year’s speaker will be Mario Piles, the Director of the University of Idaho Black\/African American Cultural Center.<\/p>\n Each year at the Breakfast, the Rosa Parks Award<\/strong> for outstanding service and dedication to human rights in our area is presented to a deserving member of our community, and a Youth Award which recognizes the work of high school and University students.\u00a0<\/p>\n This is our major fundraiser for the year, so we encourage you to donate what you can by either visiting our donation page: Click here to make a donation<\/span><\/a>, or mail in the form at the bottom of the page found here: 2026 Breakfast<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n Attendance will be limited due to space.
